12/8/2008 The Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center Public Facilities District announced it closed the acquisition of Wenatchee Events Center, LLC from Global Entertainment Corp. (AMEX: GEE) for $52.4 million. Tempe, Arizona-based Global Entertainment operates as an integrated event and entertainment company in the United States.




12/18/2008 White Mountain Group LLC announced it closed the acquisition of Solverdi LLC for an undisclosed amount. Solverdi is based in Phoenix, Arizona and produces renewable fuel for military and large industrial users in Arizona.




12/31/2008 Atrium Innovations Inc. (TSX: ATB) announced it closed the acquisition of Nutri-Health Supplements, LLC for $23.9 million, plus two significant earn-out payments based on 2009 and 2010 EBITDA growth. Nutri-Health is a fast-growing probiotics and health supplements company located in Cottonwood, Arizona. Columbia West Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor. Snell & Wilmer LLP was legal advisor to Nutri-Health for the transaction.

12/23/08 Grayhawk Capital Partners announced it closed the acquisition of Tucson, Arizona-based Tattoo Manufacturing Inc. ("TMI") for an undisclosed amount. TMI develops, designs, manufactures, markets and sells temporary tattoos and other specialty printed products. Snell & Wilmer LLP respresented Grayhawk in the transaction.

12/10/08 i/o Data Centers, Inc. announced it closed a $56 million capital raise. i/o Data provides outsourced data center, collocation, and disaster recovery services. i/o Data is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.




12/11/08 Trax Technologies, Inc. announced it closed a $4 million capital raise. Scottsdale, Arizona-based Trax provides freight payment and freight rating services.




12/19/08 Infusion Software, Inc. announced it closed a $7.9 million capital raise. Infusion offers customer relationship management solutions and is based in Gilbert, Arizona.



OrthoScan, Inc. announced it closed a $7.5 million Series B Preferred Stock financing. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, OrthoScan develops mini C-arm X-ray imaging systems used by orthopedic surgeons. Snell & Wilmer LLP is legal advisor to OrthoScan.



D-Back Acquisition Co. announced it closed a $4.2 million Series B Preferred Stock financing. Peoria, Arizona-based D-Back Acquisition Co. is a specialty product company that designs, manufactures and distributes a line of best in class body armor, tactical equipment and kitted solutions for special operations forces, the US military, US government agencies, state and local law enforcement and certain foreign military and governmental organizations.
