3/4/2010 Avnet Technology Solutions, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire the HP division of Servodata A.S. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Avnet Technology Solutions is based in Tempe, Arizona and distributes computing solutions for healthcare, education, and government markets globally.

3/6/2010 WindPower Innovations, Inc. (OTCPK: WPNV) entered into an agreement to acquire Energetic Drives, LLC and XH Industries, Inc. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. WindPower Innovations, operates in the wind power industry primarily in the United States and is based in Queen Creek, Arizona.

3/8/2010 Rural/Metro Corp. (NasdaqCM: RURL) entered into a purchase agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Transcare Of Kentucky, Inc. from St. Elizabeth Healthcare. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Rural/Metro Corporation is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and provides medical ambulance response services in the United States.

3/10/2010 Idelle Labs, Ltd., a subsidiary of Helen of Troy Limited (NasdaqGS:HELE), agreed to acquire Innovative Brands, LLC from Najafi Companies. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Innovative Brands, based in Phoenix, Arizona, offers antiperspirants, deodorants, and personal grooming products, such as Pert Plus and Sure. Ballard Spahr LLP served as legal advisor to Innovative Brands.

3/11/2010 Advanced Circuits, Inc. acquired Circuit Express, Inc. for $15.6 million in cash. Circuit Express, based in Tempe, Arizona, manufactures and markets quickturn and prototype printed circuit boards for military, aerospace, and defense customers.

3/11/2010 Florida Oil Holdings LLC acquired 24 stations from BP plc (LSE: BP) for $33.5 million. Florida Oil Holdings LLC operates as a gas station, fuel station, and convenience store franchisee. The company is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

3/22/10 OEM Group, Inc. acquired Tegal Corporation's (Nasdaq: TGAL) legacy thin film etch and physical vapor deposition (PVD) product lines for aggregate consideration of up to $3 million, of which a maximum of $1 million is subject to OEM Group's achievement of certain target sales levels. OEM Group provides new and remanufactured front-end equipment to worldwide makers of Silicon Devices, as well as emerging applications such as MEMS, LED, RFID, Power Devices, and Photovoltaic. Ryley, Carlock & Applewhite served as legal advisor to OEM Group.

3/28/2010 Avnet Inc. (NYSE: AVT) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Bell Microproducts Inc. (NasdaqGM: BELM) for $592 million, a valuation of 10.9x EBITDA of $54.6 million. Avnet, Inc., based in Phoenix, Arizona, distributes electronic components, enterprise computer and storage products, and embedded subsystems worldwide.

3/29/2010 Microsemi Corp. (NasdaqGS: MSCC) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire White Electronic Designs Corporation (NasdaqGM: WEDC) for $169 million in cash. White Electronic Designs Corporation is based in Phoenix, Arizona and designs, develops, and manufactures defense electronic components and systems for inclusion in high technology products for the defense and aerospace markets.
