M&A - Strategic

4/4/2011 Americana LLC acquired Prudential Arizona Properties. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Prudential Arizona Properties, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, provides services for buying and selling homes and real estate.    

4/4/2011 Harris Corporation acquired Carefx Corporation for $155.0 million in cash.  Scottsdale-based Carefx is a leading provider of interoperability workflow solutions for government and commercial healthcare providers.  Osborn Maledon, PA served as legal advisor to Carefx.    

4/6/2011 IMPCO Technologies, Inc. agreed to acquire NaturalDrive Partners LLC for $12.8 million in cash and stock. NaturalDrive Partners, based in Goodyear, Arizona, provides bi-fuel CNG/LPG vehicle systems and offers alternative fuel vehicle retrofits.    

4/7/2011 Lee & Associates Licensing and Administration Co., LLC agreed to acquire Harbinger Property Group LLC. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.  Lee & Associates provides commercial real estate brokerage services and is based in Phoenix, Arizona.    

4/12/2011 Scrip Products Corporation acquired Allegro Medical Supplies Inc. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.  Allegro Medical, based in Mesa, Arizona, sells medical and other life-enhancing products online.    

4/15/2011 Molycorp Minerals, LLC acquired Santoku America, Inc. from Santoku Corporation for $17.5 million in cash. Jones Day acted as legal advisor to Molycorp in the deal. Molycorp, based in Tolleson, Arizona, engages in the production of rare earth metals and alloys.    

Private Placements  

4/4/2011 I/O Data Centers, LLC announced that it has received $105.0 million in funding from a group of investors.  I/O Data Centers designs, builds, and operates data centers for enterprises, government organizations, and service providers and is located in Phoenix, Arizona.    

4/20/2011 Unique Home Designs, Inc. received $8.0 million in equity funding from Sid R. Bass Associates L.P.  Unique Home Designs designs, manufacturers, markets, and sells decorative security aluminum doors and gates and is based in Gilbert, Arizona.
