9/01/2009 Channel Intelligence, Inc. announced that it has acquired the assets of Vcommerce Corporation from Internet Capital Group Inc. (NasdaqGM: ICGE) for an undisclosed amount. Scottsdale-based Vcommerce offers enterprise e-commerce solutions for online retailers.

9/01/2009 Trapeze Software, Inc. entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire the public transit solutions business of Continental Automotive Switzerland AG. Scottsdale-based Trapeze provides software, intelligent transportation systems and mobile technologies to public transit organizations.

9/03/2009 Synalloy Corp. (NasdaqGM: SYNL) acquired Ram-Fab, Inc. for an undisclosed amount of cash. Ram-Fab is based in Crossett, Arizona and engages in the fabrication of pipes, tanks, and pressure vessels.

9/08/2009 American Traffic Solutions, Inc. announced it has acquired the assets of Nestor Traffic Systems, Inc. for $7.1 million in cash. American Traffic Solutions, located in Scottsdale, provides traffic safety photo enforcement and automated toll collection programs for metropolitan municipal clients.

9/08/2009 Haemonetics Corp. (NYSE: HAE) announced that it has agreed to acquire the biological collection and processing business unit from Engineering & Research Associates, Inc. for $12.5 million in cash. Tucson-based Engineering & Research Associates operates in two major business segments: Biological Collection and Processing and Medical Technologies Group under the trade name SEBRA. Snell and Wilmer LLP served as legal advisor to Engineering & Research Associates.

9/09/2009 Harris National Association acquired Stoker Ostler Wealth Advisors, Inc. for an undisclosed price. Stoker Ostler is a Scottsdale-based investment manager offering financial planning services to high net worth individuals.

9/09/2009 announced its acquisition of The Cheesman Group, the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Phoenix-based provides employment media services as an online community. DLA Piper LLP served as legal advisor to

9/17/2009 IHS Inc. (NYSE: IHS) acquired Environmental Support Solutions, Inc. from Grayhawk Capital for $59 million. The purchase price represents about three times revenue and a high single digit multiple of forward adjusted EBITDA. Phoenix-based Grayhawk is a private equity and venture capital firm specializing in early stage and growth stage companies.

9/30/2009 Telesphere Networks ltd., closed the acquisition of the Unity Business Networks VOIP business unit. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Scottsdale-based Telesphere Networks provides business phone and Internet services. Snell and Wilmer served as legal advisor to Telesphere Networks for both the acquisition and financing.

9/18/2009 Grand Canyon Education, Inc. (NasdaqGM: LOPE) closed a follow on public offering of 6.9 million shares at $16.50 per share, raising total proceeds of $113.9 million. Phoenix-based Grand Canyon Education is a for-profit education company. DLA Piper LLP served as legal advisor to Grand Canyon Education.
