4/3/2012 Asterino and Associates, Inc. acquired DoctorSolutions, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. DoctorSolutions, based in Phoenix, Arizona, engages in filing, collecting, and processing medical claims in the medical billings and collections industry. Asterino and Associates provides medical billing and medical practice management services to hospital-based and community-based physician groups and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

4/4/2012 Bookspan Inc. acquired Skymall, Inc. from Spire Capital Partners, LLC and ZelnickMedia LLC. The terms of the transaction were undisclosed. SkyMall is a multi-channel, direct marketer offering merchandise from direct marketers and manufacturers through its SkyMall airline catalog and website. SkyMall is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

4/4/2012 MedPlast Inc. acquired United Plastics Group, Inc. from Aurora Capital Group and other shareholders. The terms of the transaction were undisclosed. MedPlast designs, engineers, and produces precision custom molded thermoplastic, rubber, and elastomer components and molds for the healthcare and pharmaceutical, and consumer/industrial markets. MedPlast is based in Tempe, Arizona.

4/8/2012 Vuurr Digital Consulting acquired Full Speed Marketing, LLC. The terms of the transaction were undisclosed. Tempe, Arizona-based Full Speed Marketing operates as an advertising agency providing services in social media, search engine optimization, and reputation management. Chandler, Arizona-based Vuurr provides search engine optimization and marketing strategy, digital consulting, and pay-per-click campaigns services.

4/9/2012 VaultLogix, LLC acquired Datapreserve, Inc. The terms of the transaction were undisclosed. Datapreserve provides data protection platforms for business continuity in the United States. It offers online data backup, storage, and recovery solutions to the business community. Datapreserve is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

4/10/2012 Frontier Energy Group, Inc. acquired Spicer Wireline Service Inc. The terms of the tranaction were undisclosed. Frontier Energy Group provides oilfield and gasfield services and is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

4/17/2012 ADERANT Holdings, Inc. acquired Omega Legal Systems, Inc. The terms of the transaction were undisclosed. Omega Legal Systems provides integrated financial and practice management systems for legal and professional services firms in North America. Omega Legal Systems is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

4/17/2012 Greencore Group plc (LSE:GNC) entered into an agreement to acquire Marketfare Foods, LLC from Silver Brands, Inc., Swander Pace Capital and New York Life Capital Partners, LLC for $36.0 million in cash. Marketfare Foods develops and produces freeze-thaw and fresh sandwiches, wraps, burritos, sauces, and Mexican and specialty foods. Marketfare Foods is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

4/17/2012 SXC Health Solutions, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Catalyst Health Solutions, Inc. (NasdaqGS:CHSI) from Fidelity Management & Research Company, Principal Global Investors, LLC and other investors for $4.1 billion in cash and stock. SXC Health Solutions provides healthcare transaction processing services and information technology solutions to the North American pharmaceutical industry and is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona.

4/18/2012 Checkers Industrial Safety Products, Inc. acquired C&C Signal, LLC. The terms of the transaction were undisclosed. C&C Signal engages in design, engineering, and production of highway safety and traffic control products and is based in Mesa, Arizona.

4/18/2012 Michael Taylor Architects, Inc. acquired The Bluffs LLC. Michael Taylor Architects provides architectural services and is based in Prescott, Arizona.

4/19/2012 Microchip Technology Inc. (NasdaqGS:MCHP) acquired Roving Networks Inc. The transaction value was undisclosed. Microchip Technology engages in the design, development, manufacture, and market of semiconductor products for embeeded control applications and is headquartered in Chandler, Arizona.

4/11/2012 Montage Partners purchased the assets of the Equity Methods Consulting business from Equity Analytics, LLC (a Bank of America Merrill Lynch company) to form a standalone entity, Equity Methods, LLC. The terms of the transaction were undisclosed. Montage Partners is a Scottsdale, Arizona-based private investment firm that partners with mature family-owned and founder-owned companies in the western U.S. Osborn Maledon served as legal advisor to Montage Partners.

4/6/2012 Sottera, Inc. dba NJOY announced that it will raise $20.0 million in an equity round of funding from Catterton Partners. NJOY manufactures and distributes microelectronic alternative smoking devices for tobacco smokers and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
