4/2/2013 North American Aircraft Services, Inc. acquired Usher Aviation Ireland Ltd. for an undisclosed amount. North American Aircraft Services provides fuel system maintenance and other services for the aerospace industry, and is based in San Antonio, Texas. Usher Aviation provides aircraft maintenance services, and is based in Strandhill, Ireland.      

4/3/2013 Horst Engineering and Manufacturing Co. acquired Sterling Machine Company for an undisclosed amount. Horst Engineering and Manufacturing produces precision machined components for aerospace markets, and is based in East Hartford, Connecticut. Sterling Machine Company manufactures and markets jet engine components for the aerospace industry, and is based in Lynn, Massachusetts.      

4/8/2013 DigitalGlobe, Inc. (NYSE:DGI) acquired Tomnod, Inc. for an undisclosed amount. DigitalGlobe provides commercial earth imagery products, and is based in Longmont, Colorado. Tomnod develops a machine learning application, and is based in San Diego, California.      

4/9/2013 Lancer Systems acquired the assets of Ceracomp Co. Ltd. from Greene, Tweed & Co., Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Lancer Systems manufactures ceramic matrix composites, thermosets, and thermoplastics, and is based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Ceracomp develops and manufactures ferroelectric and piezoelectric single crystals, and is based in Cheonan, South Korea.      

4/15/2013 Leading Edge Aviation Services, Inc. acquired Associated Painters, Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Leading Edge Aviation Services provides aircraft painting services, and is based in Costa Mesa, California. Associated Painters provides refinishing and painting services for aircraft, and is based in Spokane, Washington. O'Melveny & Myers LLP served as legal advisor to Leading Edge Aviation Services.      

4/18/2013 Merex Incorporated acquired ALCO Services, Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Merex provides support for U.S. defense platforms, and is based in Camarillo, California. ALCO Services operates as a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility for a variety of aircraft components used on commercial and military applications, and is based in Livermore, California.      

4/22/2013 TransDigm Group Incorporated (NYSE: TDG) agreed to acquire Aerosonic Corp. for $38.0 million. TransDigm Group designs, produces, and supplies engineered aerospace components, and is based in Cleveland, Ohio. Aerosonic designs, manufactures, and sells aircraft instrumentation and sensor systems, and is based in Clearwater, Florida.      

4/23/2013 System Studies & Simulation, Inc. acquired Summit Aviation Inc. for an undisclosed amount. System Studies & Simulation provides technical services to government customers, and is based in Huntsville, Alabama. Summit Aviation provides aircraft maintenance services, and is based in Temple, Texas.      

5/1/2013 Rolls-Royce North America Inc. acquired Hyper-Therm High-Temperature Composites Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Rolls-Royce manufactures power systems for a variety of industries, and is based in Chantilly, Virginia. Hyper-Therm High-Temperature Composites develops and manufactures high-temperature composite materials, and is based in Huntington Beach, California.      

5/6/2013 Triumph Group, Inc. (NYSE: TGI) acquired Primus Composites from Precision Castparts Corp. (NYSE: PCP) for an undisclosed amount. Triumph Group manufactures aerospace structures and components, and is based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. Primus Composites manufactures composite and metallic propulsion components for aerospace and defense markets, and has factories in Farnborough, England, and Rayong, Thailand.

5/6/2013 Flight Support Group, Inc. agreed to acquire Reinhold Industries, Inc. from The Resolute Fund for an undisclosed amount. Flight Support Group offers aircraft maintenance services, and is based in Sanford, California. Reinhold Industries designs and manufactures custom composite components, and is based in Santa Fe Springs, California. Mayer Brown LLP is serving as legal advisor to Reinhold Industries. Akerman Senterfitt LLP is serving as legal advisor to Flight Support Group.      

5/13/2013 Alliant Techsystems Inc. (NYSE: ATK) agreed to acquire Savage Sports Corporation for $315.0 million. Alliant Techsystems engages in the provision of aerospace, defense and commercial products, and is based in Arlington, Virginia. Savage Sports Corporation designs and manufactures hunting rifles, and is based in Westfield, Massachusetts. Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP is serving as legal advisor to Alliant Techsystems.      

5/15/2013 TransDigm Group Incorporated (NYSE: TDG) agreed to acquire Arkwin Industries, Inc. for $286.0 million. TransDigm Group designs, produces, and supplies engineered aerospace components, and is based in Cleveland, Ohio. Arkwin Industries designs and produces hydraulic and fuel system components for aircrafts, and is based in Westbury, New York.      

5/16/2013 Maz Aviation acquired Gore Design Completions, Ltd. for an undisclosed amount. Gore Design Completions manufactures and installs custom aircraft interior, and is based in San Antonio, Texas. Maz Aviation provides aviation consulting services in the Middle East, and is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Richie & Gueringer P.C. served as legal advisor to Gore Design Completions.      

5/17/2013 Kellstrom Commercial Aerospace, Inc. acquired AirLiance Materials, LLC from Lufthansa Technik AG for an undisclosed amount. Kellstrom Commercial Aerospace supplies aircraft parts and logistics, and is based in Miramar, Florida. AirLiance Materials supplies traceable and surplus aerospace parts, and is based in Jupiter, Florida. Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as legal advisor to Kellstrom Commercial Aerospace.      

5/20/2013 Air Comm Corporation acquired Meggitt (Addison), Inc. from Meggitt PLC (LSE:MGGT) for an undisclosed amount. Air Comm develops and manufactures environmental control solutions for the aerospace industry, and is based in Carrollton, Texas. Meggitt (Addison) manufactures aircraft air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems, and is based in Addison, Texas. Ballard Spahr LLP served as legal advisor to Air Comm. Kaye Scholer LLP served as legal advisor to Meggitt.      

5/29/13 Winchester Electronics Corporation, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, acquired Continental Connector Company from Micross Components Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Continental Connector manufactures ruggedized multi-pin connectors for military, aerospace, and commercial end markets. Winchester Electronics manufactures electronic interconnect solutions, and is based in Wallingford, Connecticut.      

5/31/2013 Argol America, Inc. acquired a stake in Eagle Support Services Corporation for an undisclosed amount. Argol America provides integrated logistics services, and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Eagle Support Services provides logistics and training services to government and commercial customers, and is based in Huntsville, Alabama. Greenberg Traurig, LLP served as legal advisor to Argol America, Inc.      

6/2/2013 MB Aerospace Holdings Ltd. acquired Delta Industries, Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Delta Industries manufactures weldments, cases, and assemblies for turbines and jet aircraft, and is based in East Granby, Connecticut. MB Aerospace Holdings provides engineering and technological solutions to the aerospace and defense markets, and is based in Motherwell, United Kingdom.      

6/3/2013 Quantum Research International, Inc. acquired J2 Technologies, Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Quantum Research International provides consulting and technology services to government and other customers, and is based in Huntsville, Alabama. J2 Technologies provides defense engineering services, and is based in Huntsville, Alabama.

6/4/2013 Information Innovators, Inc. acquired GoldBot Consulting, Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Information Innovators provides information technology services and solutions, and is based in Springfield, Virginia. Goldbot Consulting provides system engineering and software development services, and is based in Lansdowne, Virginia.      

6/7/2013 Sparton Electronic Devices, LLC acquired assets of Creonix LLC for an undisclosed amount. Sparton Electronic Devices manufactures electromechanical devices for military and aerospace industries. Creonix provides electronic manufacturing services for various industries, and is based in Bradenton, Florida.      

6/10/2013 Humana Government Business, Inc. acquired Ambulatory Care Solutions, LLC for an undisclosed amount. Humana Government Business operates as a Department of Defense contractor, and is based in Louisville, Kentucky. Ambulatory Care Solutions provides medical care via community based outpatient clinics, and is based in Marion, Indiana.      

6/21/2013 TransDigm Group Incorporated (NYSE: TDG) agreed to acquire Electromechanical Actuation Division from GE Aviation for $150.0 million. TransDigm Group designs, produces, and supplies engineered aerospace components, and is based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Electromechanical Actuation Division manufactures aerospace electromechanical motion control subsystems for civil and military applications, and is located in Whippany, New Jersey.      

6/27/2013 ESCO Technologies Inc. (NYSE:ESE) acquired Canyon Engineering Products, Inc. for an undisclosed amount. ESCO Technologies produces engineered systems for industrial and aerospace markets, and is based in St. Louis, Missouri. Canyon Engineering Products manufactures industrial valves and fluid control devices, and is based in Valencia, California.      

6/27/2013 Raytheon Co. (NYSE:RTN) acquired Visual Analytics, Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Raytheon provides electronics, mission systems integration, and other services, and is based in Waltham, Massachusetts. Visual Analytics provides data analytics and decision support services for crime prevention, and is based in Frederick, Maryland.

4/3/2013 MidOcean Partners and Public Sector Pension Investment Board acquired Noranco, Inc. from Bedford Capital Management Inc. and others for an undisclosed amount. Noranco manufactures products for the commercial and military aerospace sectors, and is based in Pickering, Canada. MidOcean Partners is a private equity firm based in New York, New York. Public Sector Pension Investment Board is a government owned pension fund based in Ottawa, Ontario. Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP served as legal advisor to Bedford Capital Management.      

4/5/2013 Cornerstone Capital Holdings, LLC acquired Keystone Engineering Company Inc. from UTC Aerospace Systems for an undisclosed amount. Keystone Engineering Company designs and fabricates engineered products used in aerospace applications, and is based in Long Beach, California. Cornerstone Capital Holdings is a private equity firm based in Los Angeles, California.      

5/18/2013 Greenbriar Equity Group acquired EDAC Technologies Corp. (Nasdaq: EDAC) for $104.1 million. EDAC Technologies produces precision components for aerospace and industrial applications, and is based in Farmington, Connecticut. Greenbriar Equity Group is a private equity firm based in Rye, New York.      

6/21/2013 Wells Fargo & Company, Investment Arm, Greenpoint Technologies, Inc., NewSpring Capital and the senior leadership team of Aviation Technical Services, Inc. acquired Aviation Technical Services, Inc. from Macquarie Group Limited for an undisclosed amount. Aviation Technical Services provides maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for aircrafts, and is based in Everett, Washington.

4/16/2013 Velocity Aerospace Holding Group, Inc. announced that it has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Prospect Partners, LLC. Velocity Aerospace provides aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, and is based in Chicago, Illinois. Prospect Partners is a private equity firm based in Chicago, Illinois.        

5/31/2013 ICON Aircraft, Inc. announced that it has received $60.0 million in funding led by a privately held strategic investor. ICON Aircraft engages in the design and manufacture of light sport aircraft, and is based in Los Angeles, California.        

6/25/2013 LAM Aviation, Inc. announced that it has received an undisclosed amount of funding. LAM Aviation designs and implements aircraft aileron systems, and is based in Los Altos Hills, California.        

6/26/2013 Planet Labs Inc. announced that it has received $13.0 million in funding. Planet Labs provides analytics about space and the changing planets, and is based in San Francisco, California.
