6/17/2019  Merit Medical Systems, Inc. (NasdaqGS:MMSI) acquired BrightWater Medical, Inc. for $50.0 million. Merit Medical manufactures and markets disposable medical devices and is based in South Jordan. Parr Brown Gee & Loveless served as legal advisor to Merit Medical.

6/19/2019  Newmark Group, Inc. (NasdaqGS:NMRK) acquired American Commercial Real Estate Specialists Group, LLC (ACRES), which has operated as Newmark Grubb ACRES through an alliance agreement with Newmark Knight Frank. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. ACRES provides commercial real estate brokerage services and is based in Salt Lake City.

6/20/2019  NetScout Systems, Inc. (NasdaqGS:NTCT) acquired Eastwind Networks, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Eastwind Networks develops and provides cloud-based network breach detection systems and is based in Salt Lake City.

6/21/2019  Assure Holdings, LLC acquired BoomStartup, LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. BoomStartup is an accelerator and venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City. Assure Holdings provides outsourced administrative and transaction services and is based in Salt Lake City.

6/24/2019  Todd A. Stewart acquired an unknown controlling stake in RBH Sound. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. RBH Sound is a manufacturer of high performance loudspeakers and audio products and is based in Layton.

6/25/2019  A-1 National Fire Co. acquired Chaparral Fire Protection, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Chaparral Fire Protection offers fire and life safety services and is based in North Salt Lake.

6/27/2019  JMH International, LLC, dba JMH Premium, acquired Myron's Fine Foods, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. JMH Premium manufactures soup bases, flavor bases, dressings, stock concentrates, sauces, gravies and seasoning blends to custom formulations and is based in Park City.

6/6/2019  DW Healthcare Partners agreed to acquire a majority stake in WillowWood. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. DW Healthcare is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Park City.

6/24/2019  DW Healthcare Partners acquired Cefaly Technology. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. DW Healthcare is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Park City. Stibbe B.V. Cvba and Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. served as legal advisors to DW Healthcare.

Private Placements

6/4/2019  Robotic Skies, LLC announced that it has received a round of funding led by new investor Boeing HorizonX with participation from Thayer Ventures, Sun Mountain Capital, and Kickstart Seed Fund. Kickstart Seed Fund is a venture capital firm based in Cottonwood Heights.

6/4/2019  Vivint Solar, Inc. (NYSE:VSLR) announced that it has entered into a multi-party forward flow funding arrangement. The company received equity funding from returning investor Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital, Inc. (NYSE:HASI) in the transaction. Vivint Solar provides distributed solar energy primarily to residential customers and is based in Lehi.

6/11/2019  Suuchi Inc. announced that it has received a round of funding from new investor Decathlon Capital Partners. Decathlon is a private equity firm based in Park City.

6/12/2019  LSK BioPartners, Inc, dba LSK BioPharma, announced that it has received $20.0 million in a round of funding. LSK BioPharma engages in the development of healthcare products and provision of product development services and is based in Salt Lake City.

6/13/2019  Fortem Technologies, Inc. announced that it has received $14.5 million in a round of funding. Fortem develops and manufactures AI-enabled airspace safety and security solutions and is based in Provo.

6/14/2019  Hit Labs, Inc. announced that it will receive $7.9 million in funding. As of July 1, the company received $6.7 million in its first tranche from 7 investors. Hit Labs develops and operates Picjoy, an intelligent organizing photo library application, and is based in Lehi.

6/18/2019  Redline Steel, LLC announced that it will receive a round of funding from Decathlon Capital Partners. Decathlon is a private equity firm based in Park City.

6/20/2019  Provengo, LLC announced that it has received an equity round of funding from new investor Decathlon Capital Partners. Decathlon is a private equity firm based in Park City.

6/24/2019  Vivint Solar, Inc. (NYSE:VSLR) announced that it has secured commitments for $100.0 million in an equity round of funding. Vivint Solar provides distributed solar energy primarily to residential customers and is based in Lehi.

6/25/2019  MX Technologies Inc. announced that it has received $100.0 million in a round of funding led by Battery Ventures with participation from Cross Creek Advisors, Pelion Venture Partners and other investors. MX Technologies develops and provides money management and financial software and is based in Lehi. Cross Creek Advisors and Pelion Venture Partners are venture capital firms based in Salt Lake City.

6/25/2019  Tundra Inc. announced that it has received $12.0 million in a round of funding led by new investor Redpoint Ventures with participation from Peterson Ventures, LLC and other investors. Peterson Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City.
