3/1/2021 Tru-Cut, LLC acquired Larkin Industries Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Tru-Cut designs and manufactures customized rotary and flat steel rule dies for medical device companies, commercial printers, advertising agencies, greeting card companies, and corrugated and packaging companies and is based in Salt Lake City.

3/3/2021 Moneylion, Inc. acquired Wealth Technologies Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Moneylion, a mobile bank, operates a personal finance, banking, and investment platform and is based in Sandy.

3/8/2021 RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. acquired Innovative Marking Systems, Inc. (IMS). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. IMS operates as a highway and airport construction company and is based in Bluffdale.

3/9/2021 CenExel Clinical Research acquired CI Trials Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. CenExel offers clinical research solutions and is based in Salt Lake City.

3/10/2021 Camping World Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:CWH) agreed to acquire Hurricane Valley Auto Mall, Inc., dba Nielson RV. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Nielson retails recreational vehicles and their parts and is based in Saint George.

3/10/2021 Akerna Corp. (NasdaqCM:KERN) agreed to acquire Viridian Sciences, Inc. for $6.0 million. Viridian is a fully integrated Cannabis ERP system, providing a Seed-To-Sale Software platform and is based in Pleasant Grove. Ballard Spahr LLP is serving as legal advisor to Viridian.

3/11/2021 Alera Group, Inc. acquired Behling Insurance Agency Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Behling offers insurance brokerage services and is based in Payson.

3/11/2021 Officium Labs acquired SpreadsheetScheduler.com. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Spreadsheet Scheduler develops a suite of workforce management solutions for call center management and is based in Lehi.

3/12/2021 Dental Intelligence, Inc. acquired Modento Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Dental Intelligence designs and develops a suite of software products for dentists and is based in Pleasant Grove.

3/18/2021 Telarus Inc. acquired Chorus Communications, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Telarus operates as a telecom master agent and patent holder of real-time carrier quotes in the United States and is based in Sandy.

3/19/2021 eLearning Brothers, LLC acquired The Game Agency LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. eLearning Brothers offers corporate learning technology and custom training development solutions and is based in American Fork.

3/19/2021 The Cary Company acquired Quality Container, LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Quality Container supplies industrial type containers, including drums, pails, cans, bottles, and totes in various sizes and configurations and is based in Salt Lake City.

3/25/2021 Salty Dot, Inc. acquired Purple Insurance. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Salty Dot, an embedded insurance technology company, develops a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables carriers and distribution partners to offer a customized policy to insure a product or service in real-time during the purchase process and is based in Salt Lake City.

3/25/2021 Morris Murdock, LLC agreed to acquire Travel Services, Inc., dba Columbus Travel. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Columbus Travel operates as a travel agency that provides cruise, vacation, and travel deals through an online platform and is based in Bountiful. Morris Murdock is a travel agency based in Salt Lake City.

3/31/2021 Overhead Door Corporation acquired Won-Door Corporation. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Won-Door is the market leader in accordion style fire and security door solutions and is based in Salt Lake City. Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar P.C. served as legal advisor to Won-Door.

Private Placements

3/2/2021 TaxBit, Inc. announced that it has received $100.0 million in its Series A round of funding co-led by new investors Tiger Global Management LLC and Paradigm Operations LP with participation from Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. (TSX:GLXY), Original Capital, Album VC, and other investors. TaxBit develops cryptocurrency tax automation software and is based in Salt Lake City. Album, previously known as Peak Ventures LLP, is a venture capital firm based in Lehi.

3/9/2021 Ivanti Software, Inc. announced that it will receive funding from Charlesbank Capital Partners, LLC and other investors. Ivanti provides information technology management software solutions and is based in South Jordan. Sidley Austin LLP is serving as legal advisor to Ivanti.

3/15/2021 DeepSee Inc. announced that it has received $22.6 million in its Series A round of funding led by new investor ForgePoint Capital with participation from returning investors AllegisCyber Capital and Signal Peak Ventures. DeepSee develops knowledge process automation (KPA) platforms based on artificial intelligence and is based in Salt Lake City. Signal Peak is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City.

3/16/2021 Cyware Labs Inc. announced that it has received $30.0 million in its Series B round of funding from Advent Global Technology, Ten Eleven Ventures, Mercato Partners, and other investors. Mercato is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Cottonwood Heights.

3/16/2021 Brim Financial Inc. announced that it has received $20.1 million in its Series B round of funding from Desjardins Group, EPIC Ventures, Impression Ventures, and other investors. EPIC is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City.

3/16/2021 Socure Inc. announced that it has received $100.0 million in funding from Accel Partners, Commerce Ventures, Sorenson Capital, and other investors. Sorenson is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Lehi.

3/16/2021 SchooLinks Inc. announced that it has raised $8.3 million in its Series A round from LiveOak Venture Partners LP, Juvo Ventures, and SJF Ventures. Juvo is a venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City.

3/16/2021 Studio McGee announced that it has received $6.0 million in funding from new investor Strand Equity Partners, LLC. Studio McGee provides commercial and residential interior design services and is based in Lehi.

3/17/2021 SocialSwell, Inc., dba Swell, announced that it has received $8.0 million in its Series A round of funding led by new investor SkyLab Ventures, Inc. with participation from Teamworthy Ventures and existing investors including Cultivation Capital. Swell is an engagement platform that helps location-based businesses better engage with and acquire new customers and is based in Holladay. SkyLab is a principal investment firm based in Murray.

3/17/2021 Canopy Tax Inc. announced that it will receive $19.5 million in funding. As of 3/30/2021, the company announced that it has received $16.5 in its first tranche from 11 investors. Canopy provides a tax resolution, accounting workflow management, and practice management software platform for accountants and tax professionals and is based in Lehi.

3/19/2021 1847 Goedeker Inc. (AMEX:GOED) announced that it has received $5.0 million in funding from SILAC Insurance Company and Evergreen Capital Management, LLC. SILAC provides Medicare supplement, life, hospital, and cancer and short-term care insurance solutions to senior citizens and pre-retirees in the United States and is based in Salt Lake City.

3/22/2021 eLearning Brothers, LLC announced that it has received funding from existing investors RLG Capital, LLC and Trinity Private Equity Group. eLearning Brothers offers corporate learning technology and custom training development solutions and is based in American Fork. RLG is a private equity firm based in Park City.

3/22/2021 Fortem Technologies, Inc. announced that it has received $15.0 million in a round of funding from new investor Toshiba Infrastructure Systems & Solutions Corporation. Fortem develops and manufactures an intrusion detection and detect-and-avoid solution that alerts, identifies, and classifies drones and other unmanned aircraft vehicles (UAVs) and is based in Pleasant Grove.

3/24/2021 Tentrr, Inc. announced that it has received a round of funding from Decathlon Capital Partners, LLC. Decathlon is a venture capital firm based in Park City.

3/24/2021 Neighbor Storage, Inc. announced that it has received $54.0 million in funding from Fifth Wall Ventures Management, LLC, Pelion Venture Partners, Album VC, Rise of the Rest, and other investors. Neighbor Storage owns and operates a peer-to-peer self-storage marketplace and is based in American Fork. Pelion is a venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City. Album, previously known as Peak Ventures LLP, is a venture capital firm based in Lehi.

3/25/2021 Cartsquad announced that it has received funding from Decathlon Capital Partners, LLC. Decathlon is a venture capital firm based in Park City.

3/26/2021 Emmersion Learning, Inc. announced that it has received $5.5 million in funding from Sepio Capital, LP, Tamarak Capital LLC, and other investors. Emmersion operates as an educational technology company and is based in Lehi. Tamarak is a venture capital firm based in Springville.
