9/5/2024 PCRK Group acquired 36 Massage Envy locations in Texas and New Mexico from Massage Envy Franchising, LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 9/10/2024 Brightmore Brands, a Beach Point Capital Management LP portfolio company, acquired Texas Thrift, a portfolio of 17 thrift stores in Texas. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Scottsdale-based Brightmore is the largest privately-held for-profit thrift store chain in the U.S. It partners with many charity organizations across the U.S. and processes over 60 million pounds of used clothing each year, redirecting textiles and other goods for reuse that would otherwise be destined for a landfill.

9/9/2024 Solestial, Inc. announced that it will raise $21.9 million in its Series A round of funding. As of 9/19/2024 the company announced that it had raised $15.1 million in its first tranche from 12 investors. Solestial develops a manufacturing technology for ultrathin high-efficiency silicon solar cells and is based in Tempe.

9/12/2024 GT Medical Technologies, Inc. has announced that it will receive $35.0 million in a round of funding that will include participation from new investor Horizon Technology Finance Management, LLC. On the same date, the company received $15.0 million in its first tranche. GT is a medical device company that develops and manufactures equipment for the treatment of brain tumors and is based in Tempe.

9/12/2024 eClinical Solutions LLC has announced that it will receive a round of funding that will include participation from new investor GI Manager L.P. and founders of the company. GI Manager, a private equity, data infrastructure and real estate investment firm based in Scottsdale, will take majority investment in the transaction. Ropes & Gray LLP served as legal advisor to GI Partners.

9/13/2024 Stax.ai, Inc. announced that it has raised $7.0 million in a round of funding from 5 investors. Stax.ai designs and develops a cloud-based workflow automation platform tailored for TPAs to streamline operations and productivity and is based in Scottsdale.

9/16/2024 Wealth, Inc. announced that it has received $30.0 million in its Series A round of funding led by new investor GV Management Company, LLC with participation from Citi Ventures, Inc., Outpost Ventures, 53 Stations, and other investors. Wealth designs and develops a digital estate planning platform that provides a holistic view of all assets, visualized, and securely stored in one place and is based in Phoenix.
