5/1/2020 Listen Technologies Corporation acquired ExXothermic, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Listen Technologies engages in the development, manufacture, marketing, and sale of assistive listening systems for personalized listening applications and is based in Bluffdale.
5/5/2020 Zumasys, Inc. acquired Total Computing Solutions. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Total Computing develops point of sale software for customers in the retail, restaurants and wholesale distribution sectors and is based in Lehi.
5/8/2020 Buy Box Experts acquired Egility. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Egility is a digital marketing agency based in Pleasant Grove. Buy Box Experts is a consulting and management agency supporting brands on the Amazon marketplace and is based in South Jordan.
5/14/2020 Venafi, Inc. agreed to acquire Jetstack Ltd. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Venafi is a cyber security company that provides enterprise key and certificate management security solutions and is based in Salt Lake City.
Private Placements
5/5/2020 eLearning Brothers, LLC announced that it has received $38.0 million in a round of funding from RLG Capital, LLC, Trinity Private Equity Group, HCAP Partners and other investors. eLearning Brothers designs and develops templates and stock assets that enable users to create courses and is based in American Fork. RLG is a private equity firm based in Park City.
5/15/2020 Xomi, Inc., dba Chargeback, announced that it will receive $6.6 million in its Series A1 round of funding. The transaction closed June 9, 2020 and was led by FINTOP Capital and Next Frontier Capital with participation from existing investors including Next Coast Ventures and Kickstart Fund. Chargeback offers a SaaS-based dispute management platform that acts as a collaboration hub for integrating and automating every step of the dispute lifecycle and is based in Salt Lake City. Kickstart is a venture capital firm based in Cottonwood Heights.
5/19/2020 Protocol First, Inc. announced that it has received a round of funding from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Endowment Arm. Protocol First develops software solutions for complex clinical trials in the healthcare and life sciences industry and is based in Salt Lake City.
5/21/2020 Couchbase, Inc. announced that it has received $105.0 million in its Series G oversubscribed round of funding led by new investor GPI Capital LP with participation from Accel Partners, Sorenson Capital and other investors. Sorenson Capital is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Lehi.
5/21/2020 MakeSpace Labs, Inc. announced that it has received $55.0 million in its Series E round of funding from Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE:IRM), Ten Eighty Capital, CX Collective, and other investors. Ten Eighty is a private equity firm based in Park City.
5/21/2020 Amplitude Analytics, Inc. announced that it has received $50.0 million in a round of funding from GIC Pte. Ltd., Sorenson Capital, Sequoia Capital Operations LLC and other investors. Sorenson is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Lehi.
5/27/2020 Smartrent.com, Inc. announced that it has raised $60.0 million in a round of funding from Spark Capital Partners, LLC, Amazon Alexa Fund, RETV Management LLC, and other investors. RETV is a venture capital firm based in Park City.
5/27/2020 Fernished, Inc. announced that it has received $15.0 million in its Series A round of funding from Khosla Ventures, PLG Ventures Limited, RETV Management LLC, and other investors. RETV is a venture capital firm based in Park City.
