12/2/2020 The Family Treatment Network, Inc. acquired Catalyst Behavioral Solutions. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Catalyst offers mental health therapy and behavior programs for individuals and families and is based in Layton.

12/2/2020 NetSPI, Inc. acquired Silent Break Security, LLC, dba DEFENSIX. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. DEFENSIX operates as a security testing firm providing network and application testing, red teaming, and adversary simulation services and is based in Lehi.

12/2/2020 AWP, Inc., dba Area Wide Protective Inc., acquired Traffic Safety Rentals (TSR). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. TSR provides traffic control services and equipment and is based in Ogden.

12/2/2020 MeridianLink, Inc. agreed to acquire certain assets of TazWorks. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. TazWorks develops a cloud-based background screening platform and is based in Draper.

12/3/2020 Exterro, Inc. acquired AccessData Group, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. AccessData develops and delivers digital forensics and e-Discovery software solutions for corporations, law enforcement, government agencies, and law firms worldwide and is based in Orem. Honigman LLP served as legal advisor to AccessData.

12/6/2020 Alianza, Inc. agreed to acquire CounterPath Corporation (TSX:PATH) for $28.7 million. Alianza develops a cloud-based voice platform for cable operators, mobile operators, telcos, and other broadband providers and is based in Lindon. Holland & Hart LLP and Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP are serving as legal advisors to Alianza.

12/9/2020 weBoost, LLC acquired SignalTeQ. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. SignalTeQ develops commercial cellular site surveying tools, such as CellLinQ Meter + App, and is based in Salt Lake City. weBoost develops and distributes cell phone signal boosters and is based in St. George.

12/9/2020 ControlUp, Inc. acquired Avacee LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Avacee develops a cloud-based intelligence and automation solution for managing systems and devices and is based in Alpine.

12/10/2020 Instructure, Inc. agreed to acquire Certica Solutions, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Instructure provides applications for learning, assessment, and performance management through a software-as-a-service business model worldwide and is based in Salt Lake City.

12/10/2020 CleanSpark, Inc. (NasdaqCM:CLSK) agreed to acquire ATL Data Centers, LLC for $28.1 million. CleanSpark provides energy software and control technology solutions worldwide and is based in Woods Cross. Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP is serving as legal advisor to CleanSpark.

12/10/2020 Evercel, Inc. (OTCPK:EVRC) and its co-investors agreed to acquire ZAGG Inc. (NasdaqGS:ZAGG) for $242.5 million. ZAGG, together with its subsidiaries, designs, manufactures, and distributes mobile tech accessories for smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and other mobile technology and is based in Midvale. Latham & Watkins LLP is serving as legal advisor to ZAGG.

12/10/2020 Fortis Solutions Group, LLC acquired Kala Packaging LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Kala is a printer of pressure sensitive labels and flexible packaging and is based in Orem.

12/11/2020 Boston Omaha Corporation (NASDAQ:BOMN), through its wholly owned subsidiary FIF Utah LLC, agreed to acquire Utah Broadband, LLC (UBB) for $21.6 million in cash to be paid at closing, subject to certain working capital and other adjustments, and the issuance of 20% of the common membership interests, valued at $5.4 million. The transaction closed on 12/29/2020. UBB is a family-owned broadband fiber and fixed wireless internet service provider based in Sandy.

12/18/2020 Experlogix, Inc. acquired Xpertdoc Technologies Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Experlogix develops automated configurator solutions for enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management systems and is based in Salt Lake City.

12/20/2020 Rent-A-Center, Inc. (NasdaqGS:RCII) agreed to acquire Acima Credit, LLC for $1.7 billion. Acima provides consumer finance services and is based in Sandy. Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz LLP is serving as legal advisor to Acima.

12/21/2020 The Great American Outdoors Group agreed to acquire Sportsman’s Warehouse Holdings, Inc. (NasdaqGS:SPWH) for $1.1 billion. Sportsman’s operates as an outdoor sporting goods retailer in the United States and is based in West Jordan. O’Melveny & Myers LLP is serving as legal advisor to Sportsman’s.

12/30/2020 PointClickCare Corp. acquired Collective Medical Technologies, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Collective Medical Technologies designs and develops a real-time collaboration software platform for the health care industry and is based in Cottonwood Heights.

12/31/2020 Purcell Tire & Rubber Company Inc. acquired Quality Tire Company, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Quality Tire engages in the distribution of tires and is based in Salt Lake City.

12/20/2020 Clear Link Technologies, LLC agreed to acquire Taylor Media Corp., dba The Penny Hoarder, for $102.5 million. The transaction closed on January 4, 2021. Clear Link provides marketing, sales, data science, and insurance services and is based in Salt Lake City.

12/23/2020 Chart Industries, Inc. (NasdaqGS:GTLS) acquired Sustainable Energy Solutions, Inc. for $20.0 million. Sustainable Energy Solutions engages in the development and commercialization of carbon capture technology for the energy industry and is based in Orem.

12/31/2020 Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:NUS) acquired Ingredient Innovations International Company, dba 3i Solutions. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Nu Skin develops and distributes personal care and wellness products worldwide and is based in Provo. Columbia West Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor to 3i Solutions.

12/11/2020 Vista Equity Partners, Partners Group Holding AG (SWX:PGHN) and other institutional investors agreed to acquire Pluralsight, Inc. (NasdaqGS:PS) for $3.7 billion. Pluralsight operates a cloud-based technology skills platform and is based in Farmington. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. is serving as legal advisor to Pluralsight.

12/11/2020 Broadreach Capital Partners and Cedar Capital Partners agreed to acquire Sundance Resort from Robert Redford. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Sundance operates hotels and resorts in North America and is based in Provo. Kirkland & Ellis LLP is serving as legal advisor to Sundance Resort.

12/1/2020 Telarus Inc. announced that it has received a round of funding led by new investor Columbia Capital, L.P. Telarus operates as a telecom master agent and patent holder of real-time carrier quotes and is based in Sandy.

12/3/2020 USANA Health Sciences, Inc. (NYSE:USNA) acquired a minority stake in Built Brands, LLC. Built Brands produces and distributes protein and energy products and is based in Spanish Fork. USANA develops, manufactures, and sells science-based nutritional and personal care products and is based in Salt Lake City.

12/9/2020 UbiQD, LLC announced that it has received $7.0 million in its Series A round of funding co-led by new investors Scout Ventures and Keiretsu Forum with participation from Sun Mountain Capital, EPIC Ventures, Plug & Play Ventures, and other investors. EPIC Ventures is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City.

12/10/2020 ScienceMedia, Inc. announced that it will receive funding from new investor Decathlon Capital Partners, LLC. Decathlon is a venture capital firm based in Park City.

12/10/2020 Venafi, Inc. announced that it has received a round of funding from new investor Thoma Bravo, LLC. Venafi is a cyber security company that provides enterprise key and certificate management security solutions and is based in Salt Lake City.

12/15/2020 ReddyPort, LLC announced that it has received a round of funding led by new individual investor Tony Lair with participation from existing and new investors including Spring Bay Ventures, L.P. and MedMountain Ventures. ReddyPort designs and develops multi-functional elbow and noninvasive ventilation products and is based in Salt Lake City. MedMountain is a venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City.

12/22/2020 Jane, LLC announced that it has received $40.0 million in funding from new investor Tritium Partners, LLC. Jane operates as an e-commerce platform that sells apparel and footwear and is based in Lehi.

12/22/2020 Belvedere NR, LLC announced that it has received $23.2 million in funding from 55 investors. Belvedere operates in the residential real estate industry and is based in Holladay.

12/29/2020 Saasuma Inc. announced that it has received a round of funding from the Los Angeles chapter of Tech Coast Angels Inc. Saasuma provides mobile and desktop application software for users to search across clouds and devices from a single search box and is based in Salt Lake City.

12/29/2020 Atomic FI, Inc. announced that it has received $7.0 million in funding. Atomic provides an infrastructure for connecting to payroll accounts and is based in Sandy.
