IMG is a precision manufacturing business specializing in highly-engineered build-to-print critical components and specialized processes and is based in West Palm Beach, FL.

10/15/2020 Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE:HON) acquired assets from Ballard Unmanned Systems Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ballard manufactures and provides advanced fuel cell power solutions for portable, remote, and mobile applications in the 100 to 1,000-watt range and is based in Southborough, MA.

10/19/2020 DCM Group, Inc. acquired Électro-Kut Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Électro-Kut manufactures castings and forgings for landing gear and satellites and is based in Laval, Canada. DCM provides aircraft maintenance and repair services to aircraft manufacturers, equipment suppliers, aircraft maintenance centers, and airlines and is based in Boucherville, Canada.

10/26/2020 AirBoss of America Corp. (TSX:BOS) acquired the remaining 45% interest in AirBoss Defense Group from Critical Solutions International, Inc. for $67.3 million. AirBoss Defense manufactures personal protection equipment and survivability solutions for military and tactical customers. Critical Solutions engages in the acquisition, testing, development, and production of various mine-detection vehicles and systems to the United States Army and is based in Carrollton, TX. AirBoss, through its subsidiaries, designs, develops, manufactures, and sells rubber compounds and specialty finished products to industrial, automotive, defense, first response, and healthcare markets primarily in Canada and the United States and is based in Newmarket, Canada. 10/27/2020 Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc. acquired the manufacturing rights of additional JT15D engine parts from Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 10/28/2020 General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems Inc. acquired the optics technologies business from Guidestar Optical Systems, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Guidestar operates as a space and defense company and is based in Longmont, CO. General Atomics designs, builds, develops, and manufactures spacecraft and defense systems and is based in San Diego, CA.

10/29/2020 RedWire, LLC acquired Roccor, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Roccor designs, develops, manufactures, and supplies aerospace products including solar arrays, antennas, boom products, deorbit devices, and thermal products and is based in Longmont, CO. 11/2/2020 Markon, Inc. acquired Armatus Solutions LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Armatus is a government contracting firm that provides systems engineering, information technology professional services, and related support to the U.S. intelligence community and the Department of Defense and is based in Herndon, VA. Markon provides project management consulting services for commercial clients, the intelligence community, civilian and defense agencies, and state/local entities in the United States and is based in Falls Church, VA.

11/5/2020 Pacific Defense acquired Spear Research, LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Spear provides consulting service to the United States government catering to national defense problems and is based in Nashua, NH. Pacific Defense delivers military-use electromagnetic spectrum technology solutions to the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and their industry partners and is based in El Segundo, CA.

11/17/2020 Caster Concepts, Inc. acquired Aerol Co., Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Aerol engages in the manufacture of aluminum castings, and polyurethane wheels for military, aerospace, and energy industries and is based in Rancho Dominguez, CA. Caster engineers and manufactures heavy duty casters and caster wheels and is based in Albion, MI.

11/19/2020 Voyager Space Holdings, Inc. agreed to acquire The Launch Company. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 11/24/2020 Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:J) acquired The Buffalo Group, LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. CAE, together with its subsidiaries, provides training solutions for the civil aviation, defense and security, and healthcare markets worldwide and is based in Saint-Laurent, Canada.

11/25/2020 Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT) acquired the i3 Hypersonics Portfolio from Integration Innovation, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. i3 Hypersonics designs and delivers hypersonic-specific technology solutions for the defense sector. Integration Innovation provides small business government and technology services in the United States and internationally and is based in Huntsville, AL.

11/30/2020 AML Global Eclipse LLC acquired certain assets of Eclipse Aerospace, Inc. and the Eclipse Aircraft project for $5.25 million as part of the chapter 11 proceedings of ONE Aviation Corporation. Eclipse manufactures twin-engine jets and provides engineering, maintenance, service, and support and is based in Albuquerque, NM. AML is a U.S.-based global aviation and jet fueling company formed for the deal and owned and led by Christopher Harborne, a British national and international entrepreneur and technology investor. Fried Frank served as legal advisor to AML Global.

12/2/2020 FLIR Systems, Inc. (NasdaqGS:FLIR) acquired Altavian, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Altavian manufactures open-architecture unmanned aerial systems for collecting data intelligence in the toughest commercial, civil, and defense environments and is based in Gainesville, FL. FLIR designs, develops, markets, and distributes thermal imaging systems, visible-light imaging systems, locater systems, measurement and diagnostic systems, and threat-detection solutions worldwide and is based in Wilsonville, OR.

12/2/2020 FLTechnics, UAB acquired Wright International Aircraft Maintenance Services Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Wright provides aircraft line maintenance services and is based in Mississauga, Canada. FLTechnics offers aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services and is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

12/4/2020 By Light Professional IT Services, Inc. acquired Raydon Corporation. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Raydon develops and manufactures virtual, adaptable integrated military training technology solutions and is based in Port Orange, FL. By Light offers hardware, software, engineering, and IT integration services to defense, civilian, and commercial customers worldwide and is based in Arlington, VA.

12/7/2020 Peraton Corporation agreed to acquire the federal IT and mission support services business from Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) for $3.4 billion. Northrop Grumman operates as a security company providing various systems, products, and solutions in autonomous systems, cyber, space, strike, and logistics and modernization, as well as in command, control, communications and computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) to customers in the United States and internationally and is based in Falls Church, VA. Peraton provides technology-focused services and solutions to various federal government agencies, including space, intelligence, defense, civil, and healthcare and is based in New York, NY. 12/15/2020 RedWire, LLC acquired Loadpath, LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. AAC primarily provides solutions and services to the small satellite market in Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States and is based in Uppsala, Sweden. 10/29/2020 Hermeus Corporation announced that it has received $16.0 million in funding led by new investor Canaan Partners with participation from returning investors Bling Capital, Khosla Ventures, LLC, and Rise Of The Rest. Hermeus manufactures aircraft for business class air travel that are capable of flying at more than five times the speed of sound and is based in Atlanta, GA. 12/23/2020 XO Markets Holdings, Inc. announced that it will receive $12.2 million in funding. The transaction closed on January 7, 2021 with participation from 14 investors. XO, through its subsidiary, develops and provides microgravity research facilities and is based in Houston, TX.
