M&A - Strategic

2/1/2021 Meridian Adhesives Group LLC acquired Convergent Concrete Technologies LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Convergent manufactures concrete treatments and products, including hardeners, densifiers, finishes, and adhesive promoting treatments, and is based in Orem.

2/3/2021 Peter C. Foy & Associates Insurance Services, LLC acquired Western States Insurance Agency, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Western States offers property and casualty insurance products and is based in Spanish Fork.

2/15/2021 Learning Technologies Group plc (AIM:LTG) agreed to acquire getBridge LLC for $50.0 million. The transaction closed on 3/1/2021. getBridge develops and operates a cloud-based corporate learning and engagement platform and is based in Salt Lake City.

2/16/2021 Integrity Marketing Group, LLC acquired SeniorCare Benefits, a brand of CXP Insurance Services, LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. CXP offers medical insurance coverage solutions, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplemental, and prescription drug coverage and is based in Salt Lake City.

2/16/2021 Stratton - Brätt Landscapes, LLC acquired Elite Grounds L.C. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Elite Grounds offers lawn care, irrigation, snow and ice removal, arbor care, pest control, and seasonal decor services and is based in Pleasant Grove. Stratton - Brätt offers landscape construction services and is based in Pleasant Grove.

2/19/2021 Clubessential, LLC acquired Golf Compete Inc., dba foreUP. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. foreUP designs and develops management system and marketing solutions for golf course, club, and/or pro shop managers and is based in Lindon. Goodwin Procter LLP served as legal advisor to foreUP.

2/24/2021 Arcserve (USA) LLC agreed to acquire StorageCraft Technology Corporation. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. StorageCraft develops disk-based backup, disaster recovery, system migration, data protection, and security solutions for servers, desktops, and laptops and is based in Draper.

2/24/2021 CleanSpark, Inc. (NasdaqCM:CLSK) acquired Solar Watt Solutions Inc. for $19.3 million. CleanSpark provides energy software and control technology solutions worldwide and is based in Woods Cross.

M&A - Financial

2/10/2021 Cimarron Healthcare Capital LP acquired CareAccess MSO, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Cimarron is a private equity firm based in Salt Lake City.

Private Placements

2/1/2021 Greenix Holdings, LLC, dba Greenix Pest Control LLC, announced that it has received an equity round of funding from new investor Riata Capital Group, LLC. Greenix provides residential pest control services and is based in Centerville.

2/3/2021 Transit Scientific announced the close of its Series A financing round led by a large multinational investor and joined by previous seed investors. Transit Scientific designs, develops, and commercializes medical devices and is based in Salt Lake City.

2/3/2021 Halia Therapeutics, Inc. announced that it has received $5.0 million in funding from 5 investors. Halia designs and develops therapies for inflammatory disorders and neurological diseases and is based in Salt Lake City.

2/8/2021 Teal Drones, Inc. announced that it has received a round of funding from Decathlon Capital Partners, LLC. Teal manufactures production drones and is based in Salt Lake City. Decathlon is a venture capital firm based in Park City.

2/8/2021 Salty Dot, Inc. announced that it will receive $15.0 million in funding. As of 2/23/2021, the company received $6.8 million in its first tranche from 27 investors. Salty Dot is an embedded insurance technology company based in Salt Lake City.

2/10/2021 Magical Brands Inc. announced that it has received a round of funding from Decathlon Capital Partners, LLC, a venture capital firm based in Park City.

2/17/2021 Inherent Biosciences, Inc. announced that it has received a seed round of funding led by new investor The Morningstar Foundation with participation from other new investors MedMountain Ventures, Park City Angels, Rhythm Venture Capital, LLC, Kickstart Seed Fund and several angel investors. Inherent Biosciences is a molecular diagnostics company based in Salt Lake City. MedMountain is a venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City. Park City Angels is a principal investment firm based in Park City. Kickstart is a venture capital firm based in Cottonwood Heights.

2/22/2021 Utah Infrastructure Agency (UIA) announced that it has received $52.5 million for the expansion of the UTOPIA/UIA network. UTOPIA (Utah Telecommunication Open Infrastructure Agency) Fiber is a group of 11 Utah cities that joined together in 2004 to build, deploy, and operate a fiber to the home (FTTH) network to every business and household within their communities and is based in Murray. Gilmore & Bell served as legal advisor to UIA.
