8/1/2021 IMA Financial Group, Inc., dba Diversified Insurance Group, acquired H Squared, LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Diversified operates as an insurance broker that provides risk management and property and casualty insurance solutions and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/2/2021 GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, Inc. acquired Aviacode Incorporated. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Aviacode provides cloud-delivered medical coding software for healthcare providers and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/2/2021 Ivanti Software, Inc. acquired RiskSense, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ivanti provides information technology asset and service management software solutions and is based in South Jordan. Sidley Austin LLP served as legal advisor to Ivanti.

8/2/2021 Aurea Software, Inc. acquired XANT, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. XANT develops an artificial intelligence growth platform for sales and is based in Lehi.

8/3/2021 Holly Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE:HEP) agreed to acquire Sinclair Transportation Company for $748.0 million. Sinclair operates crude oil pipelines in Wyoming and refined petroleum pipelines in Wyoming, Colorado, Missouri, and Iowa and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/4/2021 CenExel Clinical Research, Inc. acquired ForCare Medical Center. On 8/19/2021, CenExel acquired Advanced Memory Research Institute of New Jersey PC. The terms of the transactions were not disclosed. CenExel provides medical and scientific support in the design and execution of clinical trials and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/4/2021 Ivanti Wavelink acquired an industrial internet of things (IIoT) platform owned by the WIIO Group. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ivanti Wavelink provides unified endpoint management, zero trust security, and service management solutions and is based in South Jordan.

8/4/2021 Lumio agreed to acquire Unyte Home Services. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Unyte provides an automated platform for connecting home services and is based in Lehi. Lumio is a solar installation company that installs residential solar systems with artificial intelligence service technology and is based in Lehi.

8/5/2021 MRES Holdings, Inc., an affiliate of PIRTEK Salt Lake City, Inc., acquired Mountain Regional Equipment Solutions, Inc. (MRES) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, MRES Imports, LLC. Based in Salt Lake City, MRES provides sales, installations and service for automated lubrication systems in the heavy equipment industry, and MRES Imports provides active and passive safety systems and maintenance products. Dentons Durham Jones & Pinegar PC served as legal advisor to MRES and MRES Imports.

8/10/2021 Informa Pop Culture Events, Inc. agreed to acquire certain assets, properties, and rights of Wizard Brands, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Wizard produces pop culture live multimedia conventions in North America and is based in Park City.

8/12/2021 Reading Truck Group, LLC acquired Semi Service, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Semi Service offers truck and semi-truck equipment sales, installation, service, and trailer repair services and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/19/2021 Terra Millennium Corporation acquired Rocky Mountain Industrial Construction Services (RMICS). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. RMICS is a heavy industrial contractor based in Provo. Terra provides administrative, legal, insurance and risk management, bonding, banking, tax, information technology, human resources, and accounting services to its subsidiaries and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/24/2021 National Auto Care, Corp. acquired Profit Concepts, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Profit Concepts provides insurance products and services to auto, power sport, marine, and RV industries in the United States and is based in Ogden.

8/24/2021 Ken Garff Automotive Group acquired nine dealerships in four states. The terms of the transactions were not disclosed. Ken Garff engages in the retail of new and used cars and operates 62 stores throughout Utah, Texas, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, California, Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/25/2021 Executech Utah, Inc. acquired Nucleus Networks Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Executech provides information technology consulting services and is based in South Jordan.

8/25/2021 InfoTrack USA, LLC acquired Green Filing, LLC. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Green Filing provides electronic court filing and related services and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/30/2021 Ideanomics, Inc. (NASDAQCM:IDEX) agreed to acquire VIA Motors International, Inc. for $551.0 million. VIA develops and manufactures electric vehicles and is based in Orem. White & Case LLP is serving as legal advisor to VIA.

8/31/2021 Ancestry.com LLC agreed to acquire Geneanet SA. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ancestry.com provides online family history and personal DNA testing services for subscribers worldwide and is based in Provo.

8/31/2021 Cure Media Group, LLC acquired Pendulum International LLC, dba Cancer Horizons. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Cancer Horizons operates an online portal for cancer patients and is based in Cottonwood Heights.

8/4/2021 Plastic Components, Inc. and MPE Partners with several members of the SMI management team acquired Sports Molding Inc. (SMI). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. SMI offers plastic injection molding services and is based in Clearfield.

8/11/2021 L Catterton Partners agreed to acquire a majority stake in Beauty Industry Group Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Beauty Industry Group provides hair extension and other beauty products and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/31/2021 Wags Cap Foods LLC acquired an unknown majority stake in Dirty Bird Fried Chxx. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Dirty Bird operates a restaurant offering fried chicken and sandwiches and is based in Provo. Wags is a principal investment firm based in Lehi.

8/4/2021 Onward Partners, LLC, dba Brandless, announced that it has received $118.0 million in an equity and debt round of funding from Clarke Capital Partners and other investors. Clarke is a family office that also makes private equity investments and is based in Provo.

8/11/2021 Basking Automation GmbH announced that it has received funding from Blue Field Capital, LLC, Aconterra and Ray Wirta. Blue Field is a venture capital firm based in Holladay.

8/12/2021 Klover Holdings, Inc. announced that it has received $60.0 million in a round of funding from Mercato Partners, LLC and other investors. Mercato is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Cottonwood Heights.

8/12/2021 TaxBit, Inc. announced that it has raised $130.0 million in a round of funding led by new investors Institutional Venture Partners and Insight Venture Management, LLC. TaxBit develops cryptocurrency tax software solutions for consumers and enterprises and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/19/2021 Techcyte, Inc. announced that it has received $21.0 million in a round of funding led by Zoetis Inc. with participation from ARUP Laboratories, Inc., and investors from previous rounds. Techcyte offers a deep learning software platform that uses image analysis to assist pathologists in diagnostic process and is based in Orem. ARUP operates as a clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory and is based in Salt Lake City.

8/23/2021 RainFocus, Inc. announced that it will receive $60.0 million in its Series C round of funding from new investor KKR & Co. Inc. (NYSE:KKR) and existing investor JMI Management, Inc. On 9/7/2021, RainFocus closed the transaction. RainFocus develops big data management and marketing automation solutions for events and is based in Lindon.

8/23/2021 Eduvanz Financing Private Limited announced that it has raised $13.0 million in a round of funding from Juvo Ventures, Unitus Ventures LLC, and Sequoia Capital India Advisors Private Limited. Juvo is a venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City.

8/24/2021 PDQ.com Corporation announced that it has received funding from new investor TA Associates Management, L.P. PDQ.com develops deployment software and system administrator tools and is based in South Salt Lake. Perkins Coie LLP served as legal advisor to PDQ.com.

8/25/2021 Known Medicine Inc. announced that it has received $7.0 million in a round of funding led by new investor Caffeinated Capital Management, LLC with participation from Khosla Ventures, LLC, Kickstart Seed Fund, and other investors. Known Medicine develops a custom organoid platform for tumor sensitivity testing using bioengineering methods and is based in Salt Lake City. Kickstart is a venture capital firm based in Cottonwood Heights.

8/26/2021 Plena Data Inc. announced that it has received $10.0 million in funding from 10 investors. Plena develops, owns, and operates a platform that helps to build bots allowing organizations to automate workflows and business processes and is based in Orem.

8/26/2021 Aumni announced that it has received $50.0 million in a round of funding led by JPMorgan Chase & Co with participation from Citadel Securities, LLC, Kickstart Seed Fund, and other investors. Aumni operates as a SaaS company developing robotic process automation and data analytics platform for private capital investors and is based in Cottonwood Heights. Kickstart is a venture capital firm based in Cottonwood Heights.

8/30/2021 Syarah Ltd. announced that it has received $20.0 million in a round of funding co-led by returning investors IMPACT46, Inc. and Al-ELM Information Security Company with participation from returning investor Vision Ventures and United International Transportation Company. Vision is a venture capital firm based in St. George.

8/31/2021 ClickLease, LLC announced that it has received $63.0 million in a transaction led by new investor Sandlot Partners LLC. ClickLease offers financing and leasing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses and is based in West Valley City.
